What can I expect when I visit Cornerstone?

A warm welcome and friendly faces await you at Cornerstone! Relevant Bible-teaching and contemporary worship are part of each service. You are sure to find someone with whom you can relate. There are a variety of ways for people of all ages to get involved. Our services are typically 75-90 minutes long and feature compelling messages that speak to people on every level.

As you visit Cornerstone for the first time, you will notice clearly marked Visitor Parking spaces located in the parking area directly in front of our facility. Once inside, our friendly greeters will be ready to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

What do you have for kids?

Nursery Ministry
Babies are special! Excellent nursery/preschool care is provided for little ones 6 weeks to 4 years old so parents can experience a meaningful time of worship. A special room for nursing moms and fussy babies is also available. A live audio feed from the sanctuary plays in this room during all corporate worship services.

Children’s Ministry
Our children in Grades K5-5th gather for an exciting time of worship, teaching, and fun that grows their faith on an age-appropriate level.

Jr.-High Ministry
Our students in Grades 6-8 meet on Sunday mornings after worship and on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Teachings and discussions on practical Bible study skills, sermon note-taking, and everyday life challenges are just a few of the topics that are covered.

Youth Ministry
A weekly youth gathering for students in Grades 9-12 is held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Our youth meetings feature foundational Bible teaching, praise and worship, and a variety of ministry and leadership activities. Believing that youth need to be mentored as well as taught, adult and college leaders, serve in our youth ministry to help students find their calling and place in God.

What should I wear?

Come just as you are! Wear what you have and what makes you comfortable. When you visit you will see people in a variety of clothing styles.

Cornerstone Church is located at 1950 Highway 80 East in Pearl, Mississippi.
Situated between Flowood Drive and Pearson Road near Trustmark Park, you will find us easy to access from wherever you call home.

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  6. We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts.

  7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
